What's included in your hire fee?

All of the equipment required to provide you with a professional sounding PA system to match your needs and specifications. Delivery, setting up, an engineer on site for the duration of the hire and then to round off our totally 'hassle free' service, we'll dismantle the system and take it away!

Yes, that's all included in the fee.

What type of equipment do you use?

Only the best, typical brands we use are Yamaha, EV, Shure. Many of our engineers are also musicians to whom quality of sound is paramount.

Do you supply radio microphones?

Yes that's standard with nearly all of our PA's.

Can I hire a PA for tonight?

Probably! Call us now and we'll try and help, more notice is better.

We need a PA for a week, can you do that?

Yes, if it's all for one location we can offer a generous discount.

Do you hire Lights?

Yes, needs can vary so please let us know exactly what you need when you make your enquiry.

Do you hire out disco equipment?

Yes we do and we are very competitive on that too!

What happens if I have a technical problem?

Operating the equipment is not something you have to worry about and if there is any issue that arises during the hire we'll do our utmost to fix it for you.

How is my PA Hire confirmed and paid for?

Once your booking is made we will put all of the details on a simply understood agreement which is normally ratified by a deposit and signed copy of the agreement. We normally accept payment via cheque or bank transfer. We can also accept deposit payments via credit cards, switch, solo or maestro. The balance of the contracted fee is normally paid in cash on the day to the engineer. We can where requested, arrange for you to pay for the full cost of your hire via your credit or debit card at the time of booking.

Are your fees all inclusive?

The fees quoted are what you will pay in total unless there is an extra travel cost involved, in which case you will be advised of this at the time of booking and it will be included clearly in your booking agreement. Travel costs are kept to a minimum. If the booking is long distance and an overnight stay is required for the engineer then this will also be negotiated separately with the booker and included in the agreement. We have no hidden costs and we do NOT charge any booking or arrangement fees. VAT is NOT applicable unless the engineer who provides the PA is VAT registered, which is rare and if they were we'd advise you of that at the time of booking.

Are you insured?

All of our engineers and their equipment is covered by more than adequate Public Liability insurance. This cover means that we meet or exceed the requirements of pretty much all local authorities, venues and government agencies.

Do you give discounts?

We offer discounts for quantity bookings and extended hire periods. We also give discounts for charity events and educational institutions.

How far ahead do I need to make a booking?

There's no set time but it's always best to book up as far ahead as possible. We do however, often take and arrange bookings at short notice.

How do I make a booking?

Just call us on 0845 226 5324, fill out our online enquiry form or email us . Either way we promise to respond to your enquiry very promptly! When you make the booking we provide you with a 'plainspeak' agreement that will include all of the terms and conditions applicable to your booking. You simply check it through, assuming it's all correct then sign and return it to us either by scanning and emailing it or via post. We'll normally ask for a deposit that's deductible from the agreed fee of which the balance is normally payable on the night.

Do you charge me an extra fee for arranging the booking?

No. As an agency (in the vast majority of cases) we make our cut via commission paid to us by the engineer from their overall fee. If there were any booking or management fee involved this would be negotiated by separate arrangement with you and included clearly within the terms and conditions of any such agreement.
